Merry Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. On Christmas Eve we as a family headed over to an assisted living center where Joyce, my mother in law works. We started out singing some songs and reading stories and sharing more songs, but my favorite part was visiting with them after. A lot of the family left so it was just Justin and I and the kids left and we had a great time, it sure taught our small children about service and the true meaning. I have to tell one story, there was a little lady named Annie and she laughed at everything, she had a hard time getting out of her chair and she would keep rocking back and forth laughing and saying well this time I am afraid I am stuck, it was cute, anyway she finally got up and asked Chelsea what she wanted for Christmas and she told her a doll, and Annie said me too, I want one with eyes that open and close, not the painted on kind and Chelsea just sat and listened and Annie started laughing again and said, I wouldn't mind just the head it doesnt even need a body, Just the eyes that open and close, it was hilarious, okay maybe you just had to be there.

Christmas morning was a lot of fun. Garett came into our bedroom at 1:30 am informing us that Santa had come, I told him that he had to wait until 7:00 to see what santa had brought so he had better go back to bed, from then on Chris and Chelsea were also in our room so we made beds on my bedroom floor and every 15 minutes until 4, the kids would ask is it time yet..it was exciting... We started opening presents at 7 and enjoyed yummy breakfast bagels made by my sweet husband, and then at about noon we headed to Grandma Ruch's home and then to the Whipple's house for dinner, it was yummy ham and potatoes, a tradition. We made it home by 8 and stayed up playing with new toys til about 11 then we finally got to sleep.

Carter opening a present, it ended up being a yellow and green track suit.

Chelsea after she opened her remote control pony.

Garett with his scooter, he was sad there was too much snow to ride it.

Christopher with his scooter as well.

Justin trying to figure out the hotwheel set the boys got.

Garett showing off his new track suit he got, and hulk slippers.

Christopher playing with his new bank robot in his new track suit, let me tell you this robot has no manners everytime you put money in, it farts, and says wow you better open up a window, I guess it would of been good if Santa new that SBD 3000 the name of the robot stood for silent but deadly..lol..

Justin putting together some toys, with Garett waiting for him to play with the lincoln logs.

Carter showing off his new vacuum he got from Santa.

The boys trying to figure out how to put together the hotwheels set, And Chelsea playing with it. Carter was such a cutie trying to help, he is getting so dang big way too fast.
